About
Come for one of the best sunset views in Manuel Antonio and stay for Harley, the host travelers ask for by name — he'll fold you a souvenir from coconut leaves and keep the table laughing. The kitchen spans local dishes, Italian and burgers, with the ceviche and margaritas singled out, and white-faced monkeys sometimes pass through. Service can run slow, so settle in and enjoy the view.

Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, especially given how highly this place was recommended by a local. The service was extremely slow and inattentive. It took almost an hour from arrival to receive our appetizers. We had to ask multiple times for basic things like water, the check, and even my credit card back after paying. The staff did not seem engaged or particularly concerned, and this was despite the restaurant not being very busy. The food was okay, not bad, but nothing memorable. It lacked the fresh, vibrant flavors we have come to expect from restaurants in Costa Rica. Portion sizes were large, and prices were reasonable for the area, which is the main positive on the food side. We ordered the fish ceviche, which was essentially just fish in acid with very little additional flavor. We also had the seared tuna with mashed potatoes, coconut shrimp with mashed potatoes, and a shrimp taco. The shrimp tasted generic and clearly mass produced rather than freshly prepared. The one thing this restaurant absolutely has going for it is the location. The view is beautiful, and the space itself is very attractive. Unfortunately, the scenery does not make up for the lack of service and underwhelming food quality. I initially thought similar negative reviews were overly picky, but after experiencing it firsthand, they were spot on. The food was acceptable, which is the only reason this earns two stars, but I would not recommend dining here. There are far better options in the area.
Some of the best views in Manuel Antonio. Try to get there for sunset or immediately after. Food was incredible - highly recommend their ceviche. Harley was an excellent host, and even made a few souvenirs out of coconut leaves! Would highly recommend regardless of occasion or guests!
We had a great experience at breakfast, that we ended up coming back to dinner! Atmosphere and service was exceptionally great, and food was delicious as well. If you come here ask for Harley, he may even make you a present🤩
