About
Travelers come away raving about Mauro, the guide who spots wildlife others walk right past and sets up his high-quality scope so you can see, and photograph through it, sloths, monkeys and birds in Manuel Antonio National Park. He knows the park inside out; even other guides consult him. Beyond the park, Mauro also arranges mangrove boat tours north of Quepos and secluded sunset walks.

We went on a sunset tour of Manuel Antonio with Mauro yesterday evening - what a complete thrill! Mauro is a top-notch guide, an excellent communicator and source of knowledge, and has sharper eyes than I’ve ever seen! We were enthralled with the park, the wildlife, the beaches and the sunset - *highly* recommend the experience for anyone who wishes to see Manuel Antonio in a more secluded light, or any nature lovers looking for more insight than they could find on their own - Mauro knows the park inside and out.
We had an awesome guided tour! If you visit Manuel Antonio park you definitely should get a guide. Mauro was excellent, he showed us lots of amazing animals and he had a very good knowledge of the animals and their habitats. We did a small group tour with my wife, two kids and several others. It was everything we hoped it would be.
Mauro was an amazing guide and this will be a highlight of your trip! He was informative and friendly and has an eye for spotting wildlife, setting up the telescope for the best view and taking photos that will be some of the best you have ever seen! We did a private tour and it is absolutely worth it. Don’t miss this trip!
