About
The official guides here are the antidote to the unofficial ones who hustle you around the park entrance. Guests praise how much their guides, ask for Mile or Diego, clearly love the work, taking time over each plant and animal and lending their telescope and binoculars so you can spot vipers, sloths, monkeys and birds you would otherwise miss. Bring patience for the mornings the wildlife is quiet.

Mile (pronounced milay)was our tour guide and I could not recommend her enough! She made our trip into the park easy from the start. You can tell she loves what she does, as she took the time to show us all of the wildlife/plants/flowers and went into depth about each of them. She is unbelievably knowledgeable and was happy to answer all of our questions. She let us see through her telescope and binoculars to get the best views and even helped us take pictures of the wildlife through her telescope. Having a guide in the park is invalueable. Ask for Mile and you'll have no regrets!
Glen is very nice and helpful. Go here instead of getting ripped off by the unofficial guides all around the park.
Diego was our guide for a couple hours when we visited Manuel Antonio National Park and we had a blast. He vas very passionate, knowledgeable and took his time to share with us all of his knowledge. We saw a viper, a sloth, many insects, white faced monkeys, birds, crabs, lizards, etc. He definitely has the eye!
