About
Part of Hotel Playa Espadilla, this open-air restaurant is the more upscale table in Manuel Antonio — architecturally beautiful, calm, and made for lingering over a conversation. Diners remember the fresh-caught tuna, chimichurri steak, filet mignon and salmon, with servers like Joxan steering the menu. More than one guest calls it the best meal of their trip. And the piña colada may be the best you'll have all week.

More upscale than most of the restaurants in Manuel Antonio, and part of the Hotel Playa Espadilla, it serves excellent food in a lovely setting. Quiet and pleasant atmosphere, perfect for a couple or a group that wants to enjoy a conversation. Their piña colada is the best I had during my whole stay in Manuel Antonio!
Enjoyed an amazing meal accompanied by amazing service. Joxan was our server and we ordered everything he recommended and I am so glad we did! Fresh, local and delicious. A meal I will always remember. Pura Vida!
+ the salmon was very tasty, the grilled fish also very good + nice selection of dishes + lovely stuff - we found it a bit expensive, but this is the first restaurant we tried in Costa Rica so we are not yet used to the prices here
