From the large central tree to the flourishing wildlife and thoughtfully maintained grounds, the property allows nature to be admired in its most authentic form. Every part of Aves feels intentional. The restaurant is exceptional—I have yet to order anything that wasn’t delicious, and every guest I’ve brought has been equally impressed. The pool is breathtaking and clearly a favorite gathering spot, while the yoga shala is absolutely beautiful and clearly designed to support deep healing, reflection, and transformation. What truly sets Aves apart is the people. You can hear it in the voices of the staff and feel it in their presence—they genuinely believe in the mission and love what they do. There is a strong sense of care, inclusion, and community woven into how the space operates. Aves is family-friendly, locally conscious, and regularly offers services and experiences that are accessible not only to guests, but also to the wider community. As a retreat and workshop venue, Aves is outstanding. They offer multiple options for hosting retreats, learning experiences, and wellness programs, and they actively collaborate with practitioners from around the world to deliver world-class experiences. The team is incredibly friendly, responsive, and supportive throughout the process. After four wonderful dining experiences, it’s time I shared my thoughts about Ubin at Aves Hotel. Chef Keilor, a talented locally trained professional, truly knows how to satisfy your taste buds. From relaxed happy hour cocktails to a beautifully curated Valentine’s dinner, every visit has been memorable. Sunday brunch featuring the Croque Madame was absolutely delicious, and even a casual lunch after a massage felt like a special occasion. Every meal has been on point. Liam, Crystal, and Kevin offer not only excellent service, but genuine warmth and engaging conversation that make you feel right at home. If you find yourself in Montezuma, make Ubin at Aves a stop. I stayed at Aves Resort for three weeks, and I was there every day. It truly became my home during that time.😍😊 We did a lot of yoga, and I loved the shalas and the gym, which made it easy to stay active and grounded. Being surrounded by nature was a highlight, especially the little waterfall by the pool, the seat swing by the big tree, and the evenings using the campfire to light marshmallows.🔥🪵 There is so much to say about the restaurant. I ate there all the time, and everything was consistently delicious. I especially loved the dessert menu and all the pastas. Meals always felt nourishing and thoughtfully prepared.❤️😁🥘 The staff were very attentive, helpful, and friendly, and the location is close to many things, including the beach🏖️, waterfall etc… which made it easy to explore and enjoy the area tbh. 🚗🛣️ Overall, it was a calming, grounding, and memorable experience, and I am very grateful for my time at Aves Resort.
