Mocha fishes the deep sea every morning, then mans the open-air grill when he is back on shore, so the seafood is literally that day's catch and the steak is grass-fed from the Nicoya Peninsula. Reviewers call it some of the best steak of their lives and rave about the whole snapper, the ceviche and the mojitos. Family-run, simple, and you can taste the care.

We were planning on going to a different restaurant, which ended up being closed, so we happened upon this place instead- and luckily we did! Absolutely phenomenal food!! Easily one of the best steaks I’ve ever had and we also got their whole fish of the day, snapper, which was just as delicious. Awesome family restaurant atmosphere- so good we came back the next night for round 2! Highly recommend :)
Possibly the best steak I have ever had. So much flavor. The ceviche and the mojitos are delicious. Such a great atmosphere and the smoke from the grille smells amazing. 10 out of 10!
