About
A cove beach where the jungle runs right down to coarse sand scattered with driftwood, shells, and hermit crabs. Walk to the far end and climb the waterfall — the real reward — but note the rocky headland means this isn't a prime swimming beach, and rip currents are worth respecting. The free-spirited town at its edge sets the mood.

Lovely beach. Lots of driftwood. Jungle reaches to the sand which is clean and fine. Worth walking to the far end and climbing the waterfall. Quicker to walk along back path rather than clambering over black rocks but both are fun. Look out for rip tide and multicoloured sones piled into tairns
Playa Montezuma is a small beach located within the town that shares its namesake. Its in the shape of a cove but features a fair bit of rocky headland which makes it not particularly suitable for swimming.
Beautiful natural beach in a remote area. The sand is coarse. Lots of shells and hermit crabs. Water was warm in February. Several access points along the road, some were very quiet.
