Montezuma Heights

Outstanding location. The roads are "fun", you definitely need a 4x4. Lots of large potholes make it interesting to or sure.

These rental units are spectacular. We loved the pool, with the perfect water temperature and view of the ocean. We stayed in Bohu but other units were equally cute. Peter and Santiago were helpful with our occasional question about the area, the book they have contained great tips about things to do around. And the air up on the cliff was so refreshing, we ended up making all our dinners in the unit :)

It will be a struggle to briefly describe this incredible home, but I'll give it a try. Peter & Rocio's Art House at Montezuma Heights is astoundingly beautiful. It blends in with the surrounding nature and has phenomenal views of the ocean. The house is lovingly decorated in beautiful artwork and gorgeous furniture. It's clear that they put their heart into this home and it is by far the best place we've ever stayed in Costa Rica. I think it says a lot that we have stayed at Montezuma Heights ever trip to Costa Rica. It remains our favorite place to stay by far. The house, beautiful grounds, pool and patio are impeccably maintained and Santiago (on-site caretaker) takes very good care of the place and is extremely helpful, should you need anything during your visit. The location is perfect for easy access to Montezuma, yet still very secluded. There is abundant wildlife everywhere on the property and the flowers attract tons of hummingbirds and butterflies. Peter & Rocio are wonderful hosts, always make us feel welcome almost like we are family! They always go out of their way to make sure your stay is perfect. I've no doubt we'll return to Costa Rica soon and when we do, Montezuma Heights will always be our first choice. Thank you very much for everything!
