Montezuma Hills

This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a rental property. The house was unsafe, filthy, and poorly maintained. The mattress was infested with insects, and I was bitten multiple times during the one night we stayed. The bed and pillows also had a horrible smell, making it impossible to feel comfortable. The property itself was in terrible condition. A loose step was on the verge of breaking, posing a serious safety hazard. It was clear that the property had not been cleaned or maintained in a long time. To make matters worse, the host refused to take responsibility for any of these issues and instead tried to deflect blame by accusing us of damaging their property—a complete lie. Save yourself the frustration and avoid this property at all costs. It’s dangerous, unhygienic, and grossly misrepresented in its listing.

We have had a wonderful stay at Montezuma Hills and would come back in a heartbeat. The house is homey and bohemian. Spacious and creative. 5 minute drive from the beach, but up the hill and away from the hustle + bustle of the town. The owner is kind and helpful and assisted in getting our first nights dinner delivered to us, from his yummy restaurant, Chelo Montezuma, which helped tons having our children with us. And the village Montezuma is filled with charm. Thank you 🙏🏼❤️

There are two houses one next to the other inside a semi private neighborhood just outside Montezuma Downtown. Very safe and private ideal for families, couples or even solo travelers who need to work remotely in a private place with good stable connection. Definitely recommend Exequiels place to stay in Montezuma!
