The full-size supermarket in Montezuma, clean and better-stocked than a bodega: international brands, plus fresh produce, bread, dairy and meat that reviewers found genuinely fresh. Staff get called helpful, especially with snack and cheese recommendations. The steady refrain is that prices run high, but that is the trade-off for stocking a remote beach town; regulars still come back for the selection.

They carry many international brands, the staff is great. You may have to take out a personal loan just to afford the stuff , but you're in montezuma.
Prices are outrageous. Last resort only
While I agree that the prices here are higher than other options like Mega Super, that's normal anywhere in the world. It's like the difference between Safeway and Superstore (Canadians will get this). That being said, the store is quite clean, and well stocked with a welcome variety of items. The fruits, veggies, breads, dairy, and meats were very fresh and flavorful. The cashiers were always lovely to us, and while most only speak Spanish, we never had any issues as we speak both Spanish and English. They were super helpful on snack recommendations, and in explaining the various cheeses. I fully intend to shop here again when I'm in Montezuma.
