About
A family-run restaurant and campground across the road from Playa Panamá, where you can eat, pitch a top-tent, or park an RV. The kitchen is the surprise — the ceviche Papagayo gets named as a favorite, alongside patacones del camper, octopus tacos, and stuffed plantains. Staff like Marco and Velónika make guests feel welcome. One honest tip repeated by campers: it's on a road corner, so pack earplugs for the night.

While on a tour, we asked our tour guide, Marco, for a dinner recommendation. He suggested his own restaurant Eco Camping. Long story short, we are there three times on our trip. The food is beyond excellent. We tried many items including patacones del camper, nachos, and octopus tacos but our favourite was the ceviche Papagayo. Delicious! Thanks Marco and family for the lovely meals. If we're ever in Costa Rica again, we'll be back. Pura Vida! 🇨🇷
Great place, friendly staff. Stayed here for 3 weeks in an RV. Walk across the road to the beach. Didn't try the restaurant, seemed average food & prices. I was there in October, and there was a lot of work being done on boats. It is on the corner of a main road, so you might hear vehicles slowing down, and then speeding up around the corner.
Very very good! Delicious food, super welcoming and kind hospitality. Plantains were amazing - I got the meat and rice inside of cheese. One of the lady’s helped me out and was super kind- Stopped here on my way to Nosara and after breakfast, I walked across the street to dip my toes in the ocean. Nice place to sit outside and start the day
