About
A small tour company whose guides, Kerri (a Canadian) and Danny, are the reason guests rave. Trips to Miravalles pack in volcanic activity, hanging bridges, waterfalls, mud baths, and hot springs, and they run an unforgettable Olive Ridley turtle arribada tour where hundreds of females come ashore to nest. Guides add unplanned stops for local food and coffee and send you home with photos. It feels like traveling with a friend.

A once-in-a-lifetime experience! Kerri and Danny delivered an outstanding tour to witness the Olive Ridley Sea Turtle arribada. It was truly incredible to watch hundreds of females come ashore to lay their eggs. We were also lucky enough to see hatchlings beginning their journey to the ocean—while birds and other predators waited nearby. An unforgettable look at the circle of life. ¡Muchas gracias!
We had an incredible time on our excursion to Miravalles with our tour guide Danny. He went out of his way to make sure we had a good time. He stopped at several places not on the itinerary so we could try local food and coffee and check out a really wonderful sovereign shop. He was very knowledgeable about the area and the Volcano and we truly felt like we were with a friend the whole time! He even took pictures and videos of us and sent them so we have them of the trip. If you are in Costa Rica and you want an amazing day trip, this is highly recommended, book with Guacamaya Adventures and ASK FOR DANNY!
