A family-run hotel less than a two-minute walk from Playa Hermosa, built around lush, well-tended gardens and a pool with shade from a well-placed tree. Breakfast is included (guests go back and forth on whether the típico or American wins), and there is a restaurant doing pizza and burgers. The warmth of the family running it comes up most; rooms are simple and vary, so it is worth confirming yours.

This hotel is a hidden gem! The grounds are covered in beautifully maintained, lush gardens. The pool is gorgeous and has some sun cover from a well-placed tree. The beach is less than a 2 minute walk, and it is gorgeous! Breakfast was included in our rate, and there is a great restaurant with pizza and burgers that are delicious! I couldn't decide if I loved the tipico or american breakfast most. The staff were really what set this place apart, it is a family-run hotel and you can tell. They really take care of their guests here. I had an unfortunate incident with a sea urchin, and upon arriving back to the hotel I was immediately taken care of by a lovely woman who worked at the hotel. I have never met such warm, caring people in all of my travels. I truly cannot wait to go back to this hotel.
Place was empty. They put me in a back room, no balcony, dingy and ugly. They wouldn't upgrade me. Wouldn't help me and didn't care. Old black mold bathroom. Shuttle 65us...not flexible. No customer service. Safe didn't work. Flimsy door.
The place seems a bit outdated, but has a style and it's own charm. There are cabins and regular hotel rooms available. It's close to Hermosa Beach, 5 minutes walk. Tasty breakfast, good coffee.
