Papagayo Gulf Sport Fishing - North Pacific Tours

We had a fun half day fishing trip! We were staying at Ocotal Beach, and they picked us up on time right from the beach! We caught some tiny grouper, a rabbit fish, and lots of snapper. We tried for rooster fish, but no luck. We were only out for 5 hours, so I was very happy with the amount of fish we were able to catch! We really loved that cold drinks were available, and they even cut up some pineapple for us. They did not fillet the fish for us, which is my only minor complaint. Maybe they only do it upon request, we did not ask so it might be our fault! We were still able to take our snapper to a restaurant in Coco, where we had a delicious lunch! Father Roosters did not want to cook it for us because the fish was not filleted, so be aware that not having it filleted makes it harder to find somewhere to cook it. Our guides were kind, knowledgeable, and efficient! I would absolutely recommend this fishing trip. Thank you!

Words can’t express how happy my wife was to catch fresh tuna and mackerel which we cooked last night and was so good. Danny and Sebastian were very amazing and wonderful to be around. My wife told Danny she would work for him any day for fresh fish as her payment!! Thank you for making this magical trip so amazing!

Had a great time fishing with Capt Mauricio and first mate Danny. They had bait and worked hard to get us on fish. We had several opportunities at roosters and landed one which was my bucket list fish! Caught a bunch of jacks as well as some red snapper which we took home for dinner.
