Are you looking for a relaxed,upscale, and enjoyable experience? This is your place. Unassuming and rustic the Golden Palm exceeds expectations in service and cleanliness. This isn’t a luxury all inclusive resort but it is gorgeous and charming which lends to a very relaxing no pressure environment perfect for the pura vida vibe. I chose the resort for a mini vacation and so so so happy I did. The grounds are manicured well. The staff extremely friendly and eager to please. Although there isn’t much immediately near by, or on site, the theme here is relaxation. Whether it’s a chair near the beach or a camp fire while you swing in a hammock, relaxation is the focus. You will not find fancy water toys or unlimited cocktails served to you every 20 minutes but you will find friendly staff who remember you. Who make sure you are happy and enjoying your time. You’ll find peace and tranquillity being divorced from the hustle and bustle of normal resorts. The food is amazing. Some reviews complain about the price but honestly for the quality and experience it was well worth it. Not a single meal was bad. The concierge and front desk staff make sure that what ever activity you want to do is booked scheduled and completed. A short ride for $25 each way to coco beach is well worth it for a night out but not every night. You can tell the staff and owners take pride in this resort and that pays dividends for the guests. Highly recommended place to stay as a person who travels for a living.
Worst service our entire trip. Ordered churrasco and got the worst possible cut of meat in the entire country. Meat was so white it looked like pork. Stay far away from awful place whole
Excellent restaurant at Papagayo Golden Palms Hotel. Great breakfast, beautifully presented with fresh fruit and fresh baked homemade bread. Varied menu for lunch and dinner and good portions as well. The restaurant overlooks the hotel’s pool and has the ocean in the background. Service is top notch and Luis Carlos made us feel welcome and well served at all times. Very recommended.
