About
An Italian restaurant in Playa Hermosa where owner Stefano works the room and the pasta is the reason to come — the lasagna gets called out year after year, alongside fettuccine carbonara and a well-priced tomahawk steak. There's a courtyard setting, live guitar some nights, an AC dining room, and genuine kindness toward families. Two honest notes: the pizza can be hit-or-miss, and entrées sometimes take a while.

My husband and I enjoyed our dinner here. He had the lasagna and I had the fettuccine carbonara followed by the vulcano di cioccolato “chocolate volcano” for dessert. We each enjoyed a lovely glass of Cabernet Sauvignon with our meal. They have a separate, more private, dining room with AC if the heat is a problem. The staff were friendly and the service was great. We would eat here again.
We had a fantastic dining experience here! This was possibly one of my favorite pasta dishes and I have traveled all across the world and the US. Stefano, the owner, consistently checked in with us. The service was fantastic and quick, even swapping out our cutlery in between courses and wiping the table for any crumbs. Highly recommend! We did not get a chance to explore the wine menu, but it had many choices.
We came as a family of 6 including two kids under 3. We were treated so wonderfully. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was great and the prices were more than reasonable. I personally had the tomahawk steak and while I was hesitant, it came out cooked wonderfully there was a huge portion of it. Honestly, it was very reasonably priced.I was charged almost as much at another restaurant for a not so great cooked, not so great cut of meat. The kids had pizza and pasta and they ate it up. The grandparents both had steak too, and they loved it. We even had some macchiatos, and some cappuccinos also done excellent. More importantly, they were just so nice and kind to us.They let us sit in the air conditioned room .My young daughter accidentally spilled and broke a cup of cheese. There was no dirty looks, there was no blaming. I had my daughter apologize, and they told her not to worry about it and it was okay. For a little girl that felt she made a big mistake that was really good for her. I couldn't tell you how much the bill was because we just happily paid it.They were so great to us, but I can tell you from looking at the menu when we ordered, the prices were more than reasonable. We will definitely be coming back and we highly recommend this to anyone. There's a lot of places here that the prices are high or somewhat reasonable, but you might not get great customer service. That is absolutely not the case here, sometimes it's not about the price, but about being treated nicely especially with littles. 20/10
