Sol y Suenos

I’m not happy with the room or the services overall. The internet was extremely slow and often not working, which made it difficult to get anything done. The room also doesn’t have a kitchen as expected, and the layout is inconvenient with the basin located outside the toilet. Overall, the setup is very basic and not worth the price.

Just spent five nights at Sol Y Sueños at Playa Hermosa. Because this place is 2 minutes' walk from the beach and surrounded by trees and jungle on three sides, it's a super nice and quiet location. The rooms were large, the sheets were clean and crisp, the bed just right, the AC sweet. A courtyard with a small kitchen was good for cooking breakfast, and a half dozen good restaurants for dinner within 5 minutes' walk completed everything. Staff were amazing; always accommodating and helpful. Super clean, tranquil and secure. As a female travelling alone I loved it, but this is the kind of place that's good for everyone - the rooms cost 40% less than everything around. Especially good value since the airport at Liberia is only 35 minutes away by car, and a beautiful beach with many tropical fish! ¡Gracias, Sol Y Sueños...I'll be back!

This is a budget accommodation, check on can be a little clunky, it's very basic, but it's very safe, close to the beach and food, and it's comfortable.
