Villas Chikuky

Such a homey place. Loved our atay. Great location. Completely enclosed property. Feels very safe, even on a very busy road. Kids lived the pools. Very helpful staff.

Villas Chikuky is a special place. Our casita was super comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen was fully equipped and had every appliance you could need. We had the warmest welcome from our host who also communicated promptly and fully. The location is convenient, close to the beach and with coffee shops and restaurants close by. Downtown is just a few minutes walk away. We specially enjoyed the two pools of different depths, making it very family friendly. The pools were meticulously maintained and so refreshing. The owner takes great pride in this lovely little group of private casitas, which were clearly built with great attention to detail with hand carved touches. Highly recommended.

WARM, WELCOMING AND QUAINT... This is a wonderful, wonderful spot to stay if you're not looking for the average tourist attraction. This is an eleven bungalow property where you literally have your own house. Each villa is well equipped for your stay for single use, or very large families. Each villas bungalow has everything you need. The kitchen or kitchenettes are well equipt. I cooked often. There IS also a BBQ outside. There are two pool areas and the landscaping makes you feel like you're in a mini paradise. I cannot say enough about the owner, Christina and her daughter Susan. They simply make you feel like your part of the family. They are extremely helpful and caring. Anytime they see you, they treat you like they've known you all your life. Anything you need in extras they accommodate with a smile. The property is well maintained. There is laundry on site for guests to use. I also must say, all the people I met that were staying there we're down to earth and friendly. I also was accommodated in taking a tour of the units and the property. Owner lives on-site, so it is completely safe. It is gated and locked so cars are safly parked on site. I enjoyed staying here so much, it really rounded out an amazing trip to Costa rica. Ir was a great value in price point as well. It was joyful and peaceful. It was easy walking to several sides of beaches as well as the main Boulevard, shops, pubs/ bars, live entertainment, eateries, the beach club restaurant open to the public, and the farmers market at the Garden bar (just around the corner) which I highly recommend (on Sundays only). If you have a car there is one other small farmers market on Sundays that had great produce, and freely made papusas on the spot. Prices at the smaller local grown were fantastic! Over all I HIGHLY RECOMMEND VILLAS CHICUKY!! I am coming back in a few months to stay here again. Huge thank you to Christine, Susan amd the staff. Sent from my Galaxy
