About
A San José hot pot spot with a conveyor belt delivering ingredients and each diner getting their own individual simmering pot — a setup guests genuinely like, at reasonable prices. Reserve ahead so you don't wait. Opinions on the broth and service split: some found it authentic with gluten-free buckwheat noodles worth having, others found the broth bland and the service slow. Go for the format and set your food expectations accordingly.

I have eaten a lot of authentic Chinese hot pot and this didn't meet expectations. The broth was quite bland, the vegetables weren't fresh and the sauce bar was seriously lacking. Without crushed chili and sesame paste, I couldn't make a dipping sauce like I am used to. The variety of ingredients was ok but not as big as usual for hotpot. I did really like the set up with the conveyer belt and each person having their own individual soup. The price was reasonable. Service was pretty poor. We never got our drinks and they didn't top up the broth.
We had a great meal. I like the concept. Make a reservation so you don't have to wait.
I love it, I've had hot pot before in Colombia and my Bf had it in Asia, he said it was very authentic, we both thought it was great, we went for lunch and I ordered medium spiced it was ok, delicious broth, If you don't like spicy then don't order medium, there were a lot of new ingredients to add to the soup, things I've never seen before, but delicious 😋, the service was also great the girls were explaining some ingredients to a guy who seated nearby, they have different types of noodles, I'm gluten intolerant but I had the buckwheat noodles and I was fine, I really appreciate to have the option without gluten that is different to rice noodles.
