About
A Vietnamese restaurant in San José run by Vietnamese owners, and diners say it shows — from the décor to broth that tastes like home. Regulars call it the best pho in the city, whether the big-bone beef pho or the special, and point to shaking beef (bo luc lac) and vegetarian bun chay as standouts. Prices are reasonable. Parking is tight at a few spots, so plan for street parking.

Nice place, good food and good prices. Parking for 3 cars but 1 or 2 were occupied by the owners. The street parking cost money.
After traveling around Costa Rica for three weeks, I was seriously craving something different. We ended our trip in San José before flying back to London, and finding this Vietnamese restaurant was an absolute highlight. Exactly what I needed delicious, comforting food that completely satisfied my cravings!
I hate to say to my surprise, but to my surprise, this place was actually really good. Didn't expect it but it was amazing. Ordered the big bone beef pho and that was amazing and well cooked. Beef bone was perfectly cooked, soft and tender and Hella juicy. Also ordered the hun Bo Hue. That too was delicious. The meatballs and ham was really good. Tasted like home made, not store bought. Overall great experience here and the food was really good. Best pho in San Jose, Costa Rica.
