A café and bakery attached to a San José hospital — the entrance is through the associated pharmacy — and open 24 hours, which regulars call a lifesaver when visiting a patient. It's a good place to buy bags of Britt coffee to take home, plus pastries and desserts, set in a historic building. A couple of guests found the brewed coffee weak, so the packaged beans and the pastries may be the surer bet.

Great coffee shop. They sell many types of bags of coffee from Britt, so it is a good place to get lots of coffee. Some food and desserts also.
Great place especially if you are going to visit a patient at that hospital. Life saver. Good options and coffee. Historical building. Amazing that is open 24 hrs.
The entrance is through a pharmacy associated with the hospital which was a bit confusing to locate- pastries seemed good overall. The iced coffee was decent , the service was very friendly and welcoming. Seemed like a pretty popular spot when I was there.
