About
A San José roastery and café where they roast their own beans and the owner tends to come out himself — walking guests through the roasting process, explaining Costa Rican coffee culture, even opening up after hours so travelers could buy beans to take home. The pour-overs, like the Finca El Milagro, and the signature Cortado Meraki Coconut draw specific praise. Most visitors leave with a bag of beans.

I had the best experience at cafe Meraki today! I had a coffee pour over of the Finca El Milagro blend with a chocolate pastry, both were amazing and the staff were so friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommend a visit if you are in the area. Cute local coffee shop where you feel taken care of and the music put the experience over the top
Stopped in while visiting the area for work. This was a beautiful shop and the owner came out to talk to us about his coffee. I learned so much about the process and he gave us a personal tour of the roasting process. We had some of his outstanding coffee and the aguadulce with milk. We ended up getting two bags of coffee and a quick pep in our step. Highly recommend you stop in and try this place out.
I love this place! Café Meraki has the best specialty coffee in the city. They roast their own beans, and you can really taste the care and professionalism in every cup. If you visit, you have to try one of their signature drinks — the Cortado Meraki Coconut is unbelievable. I’m pretty sure you’ll end up leaving with a bag of their coffee to take home. Highly recommend!
