Casa de España - Ibèrik Restaurant

I found this restaurant by accident , located behind our hotel, while we were waiting for our room to be ready. And i am so glad we ate here- for lunch and then dinner as well (partially because we wanted to watch the flamenco). We tried four of the main dishes (rabbit, red snapper, roast chicken and a seafood paella) and a gambas in garlic and olive oil appetizer. They also provide a bruschetta on the house. The food was very flavorful, authentic as far as I could tell and portions were adequate - my favorite was the braised rabbit in a delicious freshly made ratatouille ( unfortunately I don’t have a picture of this one). Besides the food , the day we went (Saturday) , they had a live flamenco 💃 which you need to reserve beforehand. I messed up my reservation but the owner was very considerate that he let us watch the show by opening the window from the main dining hall. The performance and the dinner together made this experience so special in the city for us that if we were to ever return, we would definitely visit again. Service was excellent too. Highly recommend that you try this restaurant in San Jose.

what a surprise. Grill octopus is very tasty and what a show. Wife is happy. 😉 Redsnapper fish is very well cooked. We also add a grill veggies too.

Amazing food and service! In terms of atmosphere, food quality and delivery I can confidently say this is the best restaurant in La Sabana. Armando went above and beyond to make sure we had the best advice and perfect experience.
