About
A newer, modern little cafeteria on a breezy corner in San Jose, with open-window walls that keep it comfortable. Breakfast is the draw - well-prepared scrambled eggs and Costa Rican or American plates, served fast by friendly staff. Portions run on the small side and a couple of visitors felt the coffee was priced for tourists, so keep expectations right-sized.

Very reasonable breakfast prices. 1 desayuno Americano, 1 desayuno Nacional, and 2 coffees with milk cost 6mil. The breakfasts are slightly small (only 1 egg for example) but are well prepared and presented. This is a newer and modern cafetería and the ladies were very friendly. It has a corner location with open "windows" style construction, so with any breeze it is comfortable here.
Good portion size. Really good scrambled eggs and fast, kind service.
4,500 colones for a breakfast that includes a tasteless pinto, a weak coffee, two slices of sausage the size of a dime, half a slice of square bread without any toast, and two super-thin slices of plantain. Pretty expensive for such a bad taste. It's one of those places you only go once.
