Crowne Plaza San José, Corobicí in La Sabana is a great choice if you’re visiting Costa Rica and want a comfortable stay close to the city center. The hotel has a classic business style feel but still manages to be warm and welcoming. The rooms are clean, spacious, and well kept, with all the essentials you’d expect from a Crowne Plaza. One thing I really appreciated was the room service, it was pretty decent, always on time, and the food arrived hot and well prepared. The staff throughout the hotel was friendly and professional, always ready to help or answer any questions. The breakfast buffet offered a solid variety of local and international options, perfect to start the day before heading out to explore. The location near La Sabana Park is also a big plus, with easy access to restaurants, shopping, and downtown San José. The pool area is relaxing, and the gym is well equipped for a hotel stay. Overall, I had a very good experience here. It’s reliable, comfortable, and feels safe. Whether you’re traveling for business or leisure, it offers a great balance between convenience and comfort. I would definitely stay here again next time I’m in San José.

Outdated rooms with carpet. Musty carpet smell overpowered by air freshener. Can hear street noise in rooms. Location close to Parque la Sabana but nothing else. Ended up driving everywhere for meals or tourist attractions. Wasn't impressed with on-site food and there weren't much other food options within walking distance. Fine for an overnight stay before flying out as they have a free monitored parking lot for the rental car. Wouldn't recommend unless you only want to see Parque la Saban or are fine driving everywhere in the city.

Absolutely excellent hotel in San Jose. Super easy to reach from the airport with a secured parking place for your rental. The rooms are clean, bigger than average I‘d say and we had a marvelous view from the 9th floor to the mountains and over the city. At night it’s super quite (only the AC is a bit noisy). Bathroom is in excellent shape and well equipped (hairdryer e.g.). The best in my eyes was the breakfast buffet 😍 Fresh fruits, fresh omelets etc. everything is fresh and super tasty! If you‘re starting your trip through CR is might geht handy that right across the street is a small super market which provides everything (snacks and drinks) you might require for long driving distances 👍🏻 We can absolutely recommend this hotel! Staff was as well very friendly and helpful! Only „negative“ thing… the ATM which is provided takes a fee which comes on top… other ATM‘s doesn’t do that. Better use the BCR ATM‘s all over the country 👍🏻
