A San Jose bistro where the regulars who click with it really click - fresh coffee, well-made breakfasts, and a chicken Caesar salad that one visitor came back for meal after meal, plus gluten-free options. Service is the wild card: some found the staff warm and attentive, others felt overlooked. Come for the coffee and the breakfast, and you're on solid footing.

First time there had a red velvet cake slice. First of all, it was very small and almost 7 dollars. It was very dry not a pleasant experience felt robbed. I would not recommend this bistro.
I came San Jose Costa Rica from Chicago. I travel to different Latin countries and this restaurant. Everything is good from the eggs in the morning to the chicken Caesar salad that I have for lunch every single meal I had was incredible. I came here three times a day and sometimes for just to have a coffee or a drink because it’s that good the atmosphere the people, the servers, the cleanliness, the food the garnish on the food. Everything was impeccable I went to another restaurant just to try it out and I came right back here to Ethiopia bistro and I’ll be back they all remember what I like and never had an attitude with anything just an incredible atmosphere and a great experience with great people.
The waitress is more interested in the Manager trying to pick him up and waiting on me. I had to ask for everything I got
