About
A little Costa Rican soda near the La Sabana hotels that travelers keep stumbling onto and loving. Breakfast is the heart of it - gallo pinto with eggs, casados, classic Tico plates - plus some of the best coffee visitors say they've had in months. The staff make you feel part of the neighborhood, it doubles as a small artists' hub, and they run cooking classes too.

It is located near many hotels including Hilton, we found it on Google map and we are super satisfied by the atmosphere, food, and above all the kindness of the staff. You feel very welcomed there and part of the local community. The food is very authentic. We would love to revisit there and participate one of the classes they are doing.
Visited this restaurant during our trip to Costa Rica Nov 9-13, 2023. The first morning, we were already told about the "sodas", small, individually owned restaurants, as they are commonly known in the country. So we set out to find one "soda" close to the hotel for breakfast. We were delighted to find Fusiones Gourmet just a couple of blocks away. Service was great and the food was flavorful. We ordered the Gallo Pinto con huevos revueltos, and a Tiquicia. Prices were modest and portions were adequate.
What a gem! I was walking the neighborhood and decided to stop by for some breakfast. I’m so glad I did! This place has a great atmosphere, amazing food, and the best coffee I’ve had in months. Seems like a nice little artists hub —ideal for meet ups. Highly recommend.
