A branch of the well-known Costa Rican POPS ice cream chain in San Jose's Barrio Chino, where the ice cream itself stays reliably good and the shop is kept clean. Service, though, is the recurring sore point - several visitors have described curt or dismissive treatment at the counter, so temper expectations there and let the scoops speak for themselves.

Very unpleasant service from Angela Ramirez: short, dark skin with glasses looking girl. She seems to be in a hurry to only service the tourists $$$$ and treats the locals in a dismissive way, almost like you're being a inconvenience. The rest of the staff was very nice as usual! She was the only one with the discriminatory treatment so beware!

Super clean, the service from the girls was very nice and as always the most delicious ice cream.
