About
A Barrio Chino spot with eclectic, eye-catching decor and a menu that roams across Asia. The standout travelers keep describing is the beef cecina curry noodle soup - a ginger-and-lemongrass broth people call the best Asian soup they've had - and the ramen bowls come big enough for two. The Pad Thai and Bulgogi (#81) get must-order status, and there's a bubble-tea 'Churchill' worth a try.

Today I stumbled into one of the most remarkable culinary experiences I’ve had in a long time. At Holiday Restaurant in Barrio Chino, I ordered their Beef Cecina Curry Noodle Soup—and it might just be the best Asian soup I’ve ever tasted. The broth was a vibrant tapestry of flavors: rich beef essence intertwined with the warmth of ginger and the bright lift of lemongrass. The cecina was tender, the noodles perfectly cooked, and every spoonful felt like uncovering another layer of depth. A truly outstanding dish and an experience I’d recommend to anyone who enjoys bold, soulful cooking.
Great find in San Jose's Chinatown! The eclectic decor is cool and unique. The Siu Mai were delicious and a great start. The fried fish balls were well-presented but a bit too chewy for my taste. The main courses, however, were incredible! The Pad Thai and the Bulgogi (#81) are must-orders. Both were flavorful and clearly made with care. Definitely recommend and will be back to try more dishes!
A very nice and beautiful ascethic in the heart of barrio chino. The curry is pretty good and their ramen is large.
