About
A restored Victorian mansion in central San José where the detail is the draw — botanical-level plant design, elegant decor, and impeccably kept rooms with comfortable beds guests actually rave about. The restaurant is a highlight, from the meals to the signature cocktails, and there's a rooftop terrace with hot tubs many wish they'd found sooner. Service earns near-universal praise for warmth and care.

Incredible hotel with well maintained classic Victorian style interiors, beautifully decorated. The small courtyard is charming with beautiful plants to complement the gorgeous architecture. The room was lovely with all of the necessary comforts and most importantly clean. The service from every single employee was great and they made us feel cared for. The restaurant meals were delectable, I also enjoyed one of their signature martinis. Walking around the Hotel in itself is a wonderful experience, beautifully decorated and is located in the center of San Jose. There is a local park about 6 blocks away that hosts local free events with live music that brings the community together. If you are a bird watcher this park was great for watching the wild conures and various dove species in the trees. Will definitely come back here!
Interesting colonial building, well situated for walking into the city centre. Delicious breakfast. Comfortable room and bed but our room did not have an outside window. We did not discover the sun terrace and jacuzzi tub until it was too late to use them.
What a great place to stay. Rooms are large and have all the usual amenities plus free snacks in the minibar. The restaurant is excellent and the entire staff can't do enough to help. From the front desk personal to housekeeping they couldn't do enough to help. They have 2 hot tubs and a exercise room. I would gladly stay here again.
