A quiet, clean hotel near Parque La Sabana, walkable to restaurants and pubs while sitting just outside the busiest part of the city. Guests praise the traditional Costa Rican breakfast — rice and beans, eggs, fresh fruit, strong coffee — plus free on-site parking and staff who help arrange airport rides and currency exchange. The showers get a special shout-out; a few note the AC can underperform.

We loved our week long stay. The hotel was quiet and kept super clean. We loved the shower. We loved the location being close but away from the central city and close to restaurants, pubs, and a most beautiful park. It's in a most walkable area. We did not have a car but noticed a large and safe parking lot adjacent to the hotel We give it a top rating and would definitely stay again if we return to San Jose.
Shower and the TV with YouTube was the best in this room. AC is lacking big time. Floor felt a little dirty. Cost of the room wasn't too bad. Over all. 3 out of 5
Our stay at Parque Del Lago was very pleasant. The staff was very friendly and very helpful to us getting acclimated on our first day in the country and city of San Jose. They were able to help with getting a ride to a nearby destination and also helped with exchanging dollars to colones. The room was very comfortable and what we needed for a night stay. The hotel offered free parking on sight and also a breakfast in the morning which was very delicisous. The room safe was great to keep our valuables in as well. Recommend staying here if you are in the area.
