Deliteful italian. Nice wine list. Good staff. Food was fresh and thoughfully prepared.
During our travels to Costa Rica, we've visited this place several times, probably at least eight times in the last 14 years. Every time, they are accommodating, and the food is terrific. I had the stuffed mushrooms for appetizers, and my wife had the house salad; both were very good, and the dressing was fantastic. For dinner, I had the lamb meatball, which was out of this world good, and my wife had the special rabbit ravioli, which was also very tasty. The special dessert was a wine-poached pear with vanilla gelato, which was very good. The limone sorbet was ok not a sorbet fan and that's not how it was listed on the menu but it was okay. The service is always excellent and attentive, and the pace is slower, which I enjoy next to the hustle and bustle of most places. If you're in the area, stop by. Please note that a 10% table fee is assessed for each table, and reservations are recommended for late week, special occasions/holidays, and weekend evenings.
A visit to San Jose is not complete without a visit. Everything is exceptional.
