Great service and rentals here at offroad rentals Coast Rica. We rented 2 Honda CRF250f enduro motorcycles and we extremely happy with their performance, reliability and especially Honda's effortless starting every time. Thorsten was very helpful and quick to respond, also provided assistance and suggestions on routes. We did around 500 miles (800ish k) over to the coast at Santa Teresa, up the coast to Tamarindo, Monteverta, around lake Arenal to La Fortuna. I’m very satisfied with the rental experience. Before we picked up the vehicle, Thorsten took the time to thoroughly explain all the key things we might encounter on the road, what to see, where to stop, what to watch out for, and provided full troubleshooting advice. It felt like a great “Costa Rica in a nutshell” lesson. I wasn’t expecting that, but it turned out to be extremely useful. When we had a minor issue with the car, he explained everything clearly via WhatsApp and helped us resolve it quickly. The pick-up and drop-off process was smooth and hassle-free.

We did lots of reading before coming to Costa Rica about car rentals and felt a bit unsure about added insurances and costs for additional drivers etc. From the moment we contacted the team at OffRoad they were incredibly helpful and laid out the quote clearly. For us, it was excellent value with no hidden costs whatsoever. We hired a Suzuki Jimny 4x4 for 9 days and couldn't have been happier with it. A great vehicle, clean and modern, and much needed with some of the roads! It gave us so much freedom and it was great to know that we could text Thorsten, Fabian and the team if we had any issues. The team were also really helpful in the planning of the trip - extra attention to detail that made this company stand out from the larger firms. Couldn't recommend highly enough.
