Pasta Pronto Express y Catering

This place was amazing! They started us off with bread and marinara sauce, which was a great touch. For my main course, I ordered the Caribbean shrimp pasta, and the subtle hint of coconut was absolutely delicious. The sangria was huge and worth it! The arancini was good, but it's probably the only thing I wouldn't order again. My brother got the shrimp scampi and it was extremely bland so I would not recommend.

I used to hate eating pasta, every time I tried it in Costa Rica, Panama, or Nicaragua, it made me feel bad, and I never understood why people enjoyed it. Everything changed on November 23rd, 2023, when I visited Pasta Pronto in Costa Rica on my very first date with my partner. That night, I didn’t even touch my pasta dish because of my prejudice against pasta, I only ate the arancinis. But over time, their pomodoro pasta completely changed my life and after more than two years eating here, the quality has improved. Pasta Pronto is now not only the place where we remember our first date, but also the restaurant that made me fall in love with Italian food. As someone who is autistic, finding a food that feels safe and comforting is rare, and Pasta Pronto gave me that gift. I go there for dinner, I order on Uber Eats, and the quality is always the same, perfect. Even writing this review, I’m still thinking about their arancinis. My favorites are: - Arancinis - Raviolis (ricotta and spinach) - Breaded shrimp - Bolognese pasta - Pomodoro pasta (the best pomodoro I’ve ever had!) It amazes me that a restaurant could make me love a food I once had an aversion to. Pasta Pronto didn’t just serve me a meal, it gave me a safe food, a memory, and a new love for Italian cuisine. 😁

DO NOT GET THE SHRIMP SCAMPI. Very plain and bitter. Absolutely no flavor. The reason I am still giving this establishment 4 stars is because the service was second to none and the atmosphere is very nice. Everyone else food in the group was good!
