About
A small, homey Mexican restaurant in San José that regulars return to for authentic, well-seasoned food in big portions; the steak tacos and burritos get named, and the kitchen will happily swap a burrito to all sautéed vegetables. The couple who run it are warm hosts, rancheras play on the TV, the beer is cold and prices are reasonable.

Loved it! So glad we happened upon this wonderful restaurant. They had some very good English speakers, everyone was friendly, the food was amazing, just what we needed! Very reasonably priced with large portions. I got the 4 tacos with steak and my wife had the 3 burritos, which they were so kind to change from chicken to completely vegetables which were sauteed to perfection (I had to try a few bites) drizzled with delectable salsa. Would definitely eat here again!
We we’re searching for some mexican food when we found this jewel. Amazing place, lovely couple / staff. They were hosting a party but were kind enough to let us in to dine. The best mexican food I’ve tasted. Thank you! Flying back to europe with a happy stomach❤️
