About
A San José restaurant busy with locals but ready for visitors with an English menu, where the casado is the dish reviewers name most: the casado con bistec singled out as flavorful, and fish casados praised too. Service comes up as friendly and attentive (one guest thanked a server named Alejandro), and prices are reasonable. A reliable casual pick, even for a last meal in Costa Rica.

A busy restaurant catering to locals but with an English menu. My husband and I shared a casado with fish prepared with garlic. It appeared that a drink was included with the meal but we ended up paying for a beer. I had asked what the drink choices were but I blame my lack of Spanish for the confusion. The food was good and reasonably priced.
My spouse and I were visiting from the US and decided to try this spot with great reviews! Well, the reviews were right! The food was amazing! The casado con bistec was so flavorful and Alejandro provided the best service!
I was looking for a good place for my last meal in Costa Rica and happened upon this place. It was perfect! The food was delicious and the staff were impeccably friendly and professional. Highly recommend!
