About
A cute little local restaurant in San José with a colorful interior and a friendly lady behind the counter, popular with locals for its cost-to-quality balance. The gallo pinto seasoned with vegetables gets a specific rave; one visitor would eat breakfast here every morning if they could. Good, honest food that won't cost much. Note it sits right beside the Chinese restaurant Casa de Fideos, so don't mix them up.

Cute little restaurant with great cost-benefit ratio. The lady working there was very friendly and the restaurant is frequented a lot by locals. I also liked the colorful interior 👍
Great food, nice and friendly staff, good value for money
If I lived in Costa Rica I would eat breakfast here every morning. The people are nice, the place is cozy and the pinto seasoned with vegetables is really really good.
