Sky Kafe

Absolutely great value! Had the salmon pasta and it was a fixed price plus a % service fee. The service was great and so was the vibe of the spot. Very clean, sleek and relaxing vibe.

This is a restaurant that caters to post dental surgery patients and is connected with the dental clinic headed by the amazing Dr. Marco and his wonderful team. My wife and I arrived on a Sunday, checked into our Sky studio, and immediately went for dinner at the Cafe where I had one of the best Carbonara’s I’ve ever had. On Tuesday, I had major dental surgery (12 extractions and a 4 on 1 arch) and needless to say, I did not order the Carbonara! But I did get to choose from a generous selection of homemade cream soups, which were all delicious and some wonderful strawberry smoothies made all the better with some extra vanilla ice cream. Bottom line, the food here overall is excellent. My only suggestion would be to have some additional items on stock to offer patients - like applesauce, coconut water, bananas, and additional smoothie options. Now to the service - I cannot say enough good things about JP and Katrine. JP went out of his way every time we were there to accommodate us - even when they were very busy. Yes, we had to wait a little longer when the cafe was full - but that’s expected, and in my mind doesn’t detract from the level of service received. They were both very patient with us and our numerous requests (remember, these patrons have just gone through dental trauma and are not in the best of moods). Katrine made the best smoothies - even bringing me a little shot glass first to try in order to ensure it was exactly to my liking. I highly recommend the Sky Cafe for both its excellent food and friendly, accommodating staff.

Experience from beginning to end was amazing. The owner of the restaurant personally prepared our food and served us and gave us great hospitality and conversation. This is a great spot to visit when you’re in Costa Rica. Thank you so much!!!!
