Very authentic Costa Rican dishes. I ordered the casado con filet. It is a typical dish with a fried fish filet as the meat. It came with soup and a dessert. I wanted to find and eat at a very authentic place. I do that by looking at the patrons. They also have a whole fried fish meal for 5500 colones( which is about $10), You can order to go. Menu items are in both spanish and english. The service is very good and the food is excellent. If it was not so difficult for me to get to, I would come every day to try a different dish. It is located in the Central Mercado of San Jose. There are many sit down places in the Central Mercado but this one looked like the food was going to be good and I was not wrong.

The people who severd us where some of the niceis people we talked to that day, the food was great and looked amazing and we whated to try every single dish, we will be coming back.
