About
Val runs this café with a warm hand, and regulars come back for the breakfasts and the coffee — the gallo pinto (Heidy's earns special love), fresh pastries, and the chocolate. The coffees draw the strongest praise. Desserts are best chosen with a quick look at freshness and a question about price, but the breakfast-and-coffee visit is what keeps people returning.

Dropped in for cappuccino’s and light lunch, and loved our experience. The drinks were great and the pastries were so tasty. Val was very warm and helpful. I am not from the area but would definitely be a regular if I lived near by. Very pretty setup and decor as well. Check it out!
Today I went to this café and decided on a passion fruit cheesecake and a latte. I was surprised that the dessert prices weren't listed on the menu. The café has a nice atmosphere, but the table wasn't very clean. Although the friendly girl at the counter took my order attentively, they brought me a different cheesecake than the one I had ordered. The dessert's freshness made me question how old it was. I hope that in the future the owners will avoid offering less-than-fresh products and add a dessert menu with prices. The café isn't bad and is suitable for meeting up with friends, but you have to pay attention when ordering dessert.
I love the pastries, the chocolate is delicious, the breakfasts—basically everything! The people who work there are so friendly. Today we met the lady who cooks, and you should have seen the pinto beans! We thanked her for the delicious food. Anyway, if you're looking for a good coffee shop, this is it! 👍
