An open-air, family-owned spot where the fish tacos come up again and again as the best some travelers have ever had. Everything leans fresh and homemade, from buns baked daily to a house hot sauce, and the birria tacos and Jack Daniel's burger have their own devotees. The owner is warmly hands-on, the picture menu makes ordering easy if your Spanish is shaky, and servers like Cindy keep people coming back for a second visit.

The Best Place ever in Uvita. The staff is so amazing and friendly. The food is delicious and I highly recommend it. If you’d not a good Spanish speaker this place is perfect they have pictures with all their items on their menu and the staff is so friendly and patient. Did I mention the food amazing. Me and my husband ate here multiple times, so good. I recommend the fish tacos! They also have a new store across the street that’s apart of their business for outdoor adventures equipment. I believe that it’s call Uvita Outdoor
We had the best meal here for our last night in Uvita! I got the fish tacos (the best fish tacos in my life) and my husband got the Jack Daniel’s burger (he claims the best burger and fries he’s had in Costa Rica). All their food is fresh and so many home made touches (the buns are made fresh daily, yummy homemade hot sauce). Everyone working was extremely pleasant and eager to get us anything we needed.
Cindy was inviting, warm, and had outstanding service. She was very welcoming, and the margaritas we got were very refreshing and tasty. I got the grilled chicken salad. It had light cheese, and a good variety of nuts with delicious strawberries. The person I was dining with got the birria tacos and they thoroughly enjoyed them. Highly recommend.
