Spacious, clean cabins minutes from the town center in Uvita, set in beautiful gardens where guests wake to toucans, monkeys, and the occasional agouti among the trees. The pool area is a genuine draw, the grounds feel private and safe behind a gate, and the hosts know the area and point you to the best spots. A relaxing base close to nature.

We loved this place. We stayed in the Coati cabin for 3 nights. Parking is spacious, the cabin is great, it had all the amenities we needed, and good a/c. The grounds are amazing, we enjoyed sitting on our deck or by the pool and just listening and watching the wildlife. We saw LOTS of birdlife, including toucans two days running, the only ones of our trip, so that made us happy. Also saw an agouti, one morning. Honestly the garden is delightful and the pool is lovely. It's a very relaxing place, probably our favourite of our time in CR.
This place was absolutely wonderful! It is private and safe, quiet and has everything you could need. The host was wonderful and helpful when I arrived after dark! The location is close to so many things to do and see and the immediate surroundings are full of wildlife and beauty! I truly loved my stay at the Cabanas Costa Tropicana!
Cabins are comfy. Not a lot of amenities. Not enough towels. Bring your own shampoo and hair dryer. Pillows are not comfortable, but t9he gardens and surroundings are beautiful.
