We visited Corcovado National Park with Sukia Travel, and while it is not cheap, it truly is a once-in-a-lifetime experience. You have to be on the beach very early in the morning (around 5 a.m.), from where you are taken by boat to the park. The scenery is breathtaking — and in our case, the experience was made even more intense with huge waves along the way. Upon arrival, registration is required, and we really appreciated how strict the rules are regarding nature protection. No plastic water bottles or outside food are allowed, which shows how seriously conservation is taken here. After a short orientation, we started the first hike. There are several trails, and the walks take place around the station. The accommodation is like a large jungle camp: a big wooden building with canopy-style bunk beds, shared showers and toilets, and a communal dining area. Shoes are not allowed inside — everything is wooden. There’s a veranda with chairs where you can relax and simply take in the surroundings. Each guided hike lasts about three hours in the forest. The package included one night of accommodation and four meals. Meals are served cafeteria-style — simple but tasty food such as salads, vegetables, eggs, rice, meat, and fruit. Alcohol and cigarettes are strictly forbidden. Our guide was outstanding — deeply knowledgeable, clearly knowing the forest inside and out, moving through it as if he were breathing together with it. Thanks to him, we saw an incredible amount of wildlife: capuchin, squirrel, spider, and howler monkeys; agoutis; coatis; crocodiles; caimans; parrots; countless local birds; as well as tapirs, sloths, and anteaters. Beyond the animals, the rainforest itself and the wild ocean coastline are absolutely stunning. On the last day, we also went to a river in the forest for a swim. The water was crystal clear, and swimming there was an absolutely beautiful, refreshing experience. Electricity is turned off at 8 p.m., but we stayed on the veranda for hours afterward, watching the night forest, the glow of fireflies, and listening to the sound of the ocean. What is especially remarkable is the dedication of the local people to environmental protection. In 1975, this area had been heavily deforested, but it was restored by locals — an extraordinary example of commitment to nature. An intense, humbling, and unforgettable experience. Highly recommended for anyone who truly wants to understand what pristine rainforest means.

An Unforgettable Adventure in the Wild Heart of Costa Rica If you’re planning a trip to Costa Rica, Corcovado National Park is an absolute must. Yes, it’s remote and takes time to get there including a boat ride that feels straight out of Jurassic Park but that’s all part of the adventure. The park’s isolation is exactly what makes it so special. We did a one-day tour with a guide (which you’ll need to reserve in advance), and it was incredible. The biodiversity here is like nothing else we experienced —monkeys, Coatis, tapirs, scarlet macaws, and more, all in their natural habitat. It’s wild, untouched, and full of life. Our guide was fantastic: knowledgeable, passionate, and able to spot wildlife we would’ve completely missed on our own. Corcovado isn’t just a visit; it’s an experience. Highly recommend it if you’re looking to connect with nature in one of the most pristine places on Earth

Our Corcovado National Park tour was an absolute dream come true! The sheer biodiversity and natural beauty of this place is simply mind-blowing. From the moment we stepped foot in the park, we were in awe! Our guide, Eduardo, was exceptional. His deep knowledge of the park's animals, coupled with his passion for nature, made the experience very special. He had a knack for spotting wildlife, and we were fortunate enough to witness some incredible sights: pumas, toucans, monkeys, dolphins, and much more. If you're looking for an unforgettable adventure in Costa Rica, I highly recommend this Corcovado tour. With Eduardo as your guide, you're in for an extraordinary experience.
