Falafel Uvita

Tonight was a fantastic experience at Falafel Uvita, from start to finish. The gent serving us and essentially running the show, was a super rad guy. He was friendly and gave us and all the guests in the venue, really great service. The kitchen team was hard at work behind the line, but had smiles on their faces. We love to see it. We got all the vegan options they had to offer, which were plenty. We had two Falafel platters, the entree size. We had Fried Eggplant and we also enjoyed the Dolmas. All the dishes were incredible and the falafel is some of the best we've ever had. Top 3 for sure! We loved the family run aspect of the restaurant and we loved the dogs who came and visited the tables. Cutest dogs in all of Uvita. We've been here 2 times in a row. Super tasty food, nice people, nice vibes! One of the best (if not the best) in Costa Rica so far!

Perhaps one of my favorite spots I was able to eat during my travels here. While I love to experience local cuisines of a region, any talent for food preparation is highly valued. The staff and chefs have created a lovely atmosphere and reflection of Mediterranean cuisine that had my partner and I asking for more; we returned 3 times for the falafel, shawarma, and tzatziki!! A perfect place for a traveler tired of rolling the dice on a good meal.
