About
Wooden cabins built up in the forest above Uvita, with big windows, mosquito nets, and monkeys and birds in the surrounding trees. The owners serve a homemade breakfast themselves—corn bread or cake—and hand out solid activity tips, and there's a small clean pool. The access road is steep (doable without a 4x4), and trucks on the highway below can be heard at night.

A wonderful place to stay in Uvita, close to nature. Cozy, very clean lodges in the middle of the forest, equipped with everything you need. Nice owners who serve delicious breakfast themselves and give very good tips for activities in the area. The only downside are the sometimes noisy trucks on the nearby road at night. Wonderful for anyone who wants to experience nature in a beautiful, cozy, and well-kept accommodation with nice hosts.
Gracious hosts, beautifully maintained grounds, pool and cabins. Very clean - with lush canopy trees so you hear birds close by and some trucks at a distance from the highway below the property. Tasty breakfast included a slice of homemade corn bread or cake. The private road up to the lodge has a sign recommending 4x4 vehicles - we made it up with a non-4x4 suv but it was a little dicey with a standard transmission. We found the beach was walkable from the lodge if you are up for about a 20 minute walk. Convenient gas station at the bottom of the drive with convenience store.
Nice complex of cabins located in the jungle not far from the main road, steep access but doable without a 4x4. Cabins are made of wood, nicely built with mosquito nets and big windows to let air flow, room is not huge but good enough. Hot water in a nice shower cabin. The breakfast is minimal but good, the small pool is clean. In the evening monkeys can be seen in the trees facing the sea. Overall recommended !
