Hotel Por Qué No?

We stayed three nights with our two kids in a spacious room with two double beds. It's a lovely place with just four rooms. We loved the pool and especially the shared patio and kitchen area where you can easily meet other travellers and exchange experiences with them. Luis is a very friendly hotel manager who gave us helpful tips. The place is within walking distance to the beach, shops restaurants and the national park. Thanks for having us, we very much enjoyed our stay!

Hotel Por Que No is an adorable laid back hotel, with really more of an AirBnB vibe. The communal outdoor kitchen is just perfect. It is off the beaten path and very quiet. Katie was very helpful and her recommendations of sights to see in the area really made our short stay perfect. The walk to the beach is only 10 minutes and even though you pay to enter the park the beach is beautiful and you can spend the whole day walking, picnicking, or sunbathing. Walking out to the end of the Whale Tail at low tide was awesome. You will not be sorry staying at Hotel Por Que No!

This place is amazing! So close to the whales tale national park! In walking distance to a lot of great restaurants. I love the pool, the and the attention to detail. Super clean. Very friendly owner! It gives a true opportunity to experience the culture of Costa Rica! Strongly recommend!
