About
An all-plant-based cafe and bar that even non-vegans rank among Uvita's best meals. Reviewers return for the veggie birria tacos, Dylan's creamy burrito, the burger de la Montana, and the Azteca soup, with a cocoa-and-nuts smoothie and turmeric-ginger juices alongside. Seating is largely covered, so the heat stays down, and a chocolate pie often comes with a free coffee.

All vegan options we ordered were delicious! Super smoothie: Cocoa and Nuts (super good), Bruschetta (came with 3 flavors) as appetizer, tacos veggie birria (3 per order), Dylan’s burrito was amazing (very creamy), and burger de la Montana (we loved it the most). Also, chocolate pie dessert was great, not too sweet and came with a free coffee. The staff is outstanding. Friendly and polite. Lots of sitting area outside. Highly recommend this place!
I spent $1,100 US at this place over two weeks and ate everything on the menu. This is not only the finest vegan restaurant on the South Pacific coast of CR, but one of the best places to eat in Uvita, even if you aren’t vegan. Amazing, flawless food. Excellent service and energy. Perfect dining vibes and atmosphere. And it’s one of the better, more covered places to eat outdoors so the heat is down. Bring your kids and your dogs. 10/10 must visit
I was expecting a big "Wow!" - meanwhile the food was good, but not exceptional. We had a poke bowl chik'n teriyaki and veggie Birria tacos. In the first dish the best were pieces of vegan chik'n and grilled pineapple. The tacos missed the leading flavour - the best part was the corn tortillas. I must admit, though, pina colada was the best part of the dinner.
