A relaxed hostel where the common area—hammocks, swings, and a lush garden backing onto the jungle—is the heart of the place, with cats and dogs that make it feel like home. Owner César runs surf and Spanish lessons that guests rave about, the staff help book activities and bikes, and it sits between the beach and the bus stop. Dorms can feel a bit cramped and humid.

Our favourite hostel in Costa Rica! The atmosphere was super friendly and relaxed, and the staff were lovely, going above and beyond to help us plan and book activities and have a good time in Uvita. The common area is full of hammocks and backs onto the jungle, meaning you feel as though you are in nature. Our only complaint would be that the dorm room felt a little cramped, but as there were so many hammocks to relax in, you didn't have to spend any time in there apart from sleeping. Overall, a lovely place to stay.
Such a great place to rest. Beds are amazing and common area so welcoming. Clean bathrooms and big kitchen, everything on spot. You’ll get every information needed about Uvita, book your trips or rent a bike. But the best part about this place is the people! The owner is the nicest person ever. The staff is so helpful. I loved my stay there, would highly recommend!!
Awesome hostel. Friendly staff, laid back atmosphere, a lot of chill space - hammocks and even swings in the lush green garden setting. Especially the dorm Polvo is such a great value. And they have nice cats and dogs too, feels like a home away from home.
