A family-run soda serving true Costa Rican plates in Uvita — casados, fresh fish and shrimp, and a gallo pinto some rank the best they had in the country. Batidos like the blackberry smoothie get their own fans, and the pork chop with onions is a solid order. It's affordable and unpretentious, the kind of local spot regulars come back to.

I recommend the breakfast here. Best gallo pinto I had in Costa Rica however the plantains didn’t seem super fresh. The batidos were tasty! It definitely feels like a family owned restaurant.
Great meal here tonight. Had casados that came with lots of variety. A great little soda If your looking for true Costa Rican food. I’d definitely go back. We have one other place in town that my wife thought was better but it’s only open till 4 pm and normally we have our bigger meal in the evening. I had the pork chop with onions and would recommend it.
We had the casadoes here, fish, and the hamburger. All were really good. We went back a second day, other than giving my son a different version of the dish we ordered( we ordered the bbw wings on the menu with side plate of plantains they gave us fried chicken and fries), which they tried to fix, everything was good. Its affordable and close, about $40 for 4 people.
