About
A small, typical Costa Rican kitchen a few minutes' walk from the Marino Ballena park entrance, run as a two-person operation where the server takes real care of you. Travelers single out the rice with seafood, the chifrijo, and the burger, all cooked with genuine seasoning and priced fairly. Warm, attentive service is part of the draw.

Great food, perfect taste and portions! Rice with seafood was just perfect! Veeeery nice and attentive service - we felt very welcomed there. I recommend walking just few minutes from the entrance to the National Park Uvita. Its worthy. Ps. Prices were also very good and reasonable.
Amazing food! Had actual seasoning/flavour to every bite and was cooked perfectly….which we did not experience in another restaurant earlier today in Uvita (Ballena area). Had the lobster and the chicken with white sauce. Best chicken dish I’ve ever had in a restaurant. Lobster was small, but for the price it was perfect. You get a big helping of potatoes and cooked vegetables as well for the sides. Will be back for sure if we have time again in Uvita!
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was delicious, the service was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable. There was only one server, but he was incredibly friendly and attentive, even taking the time to show us videos of certain dishes when we asked about them. I tried the chifrijo based on his recommendation, and it was excellent. He also suggested the burger, which looked great as well. To drink, I had a watermelon smoothie with water—it was so refreshing! I highly recommend this place for both the food and the warm, welcoming service.
